Final Dodge Last Call Model Teaser

The very last Dodge Last Call model has been teased yet again, and this time, with some rather interesting numbers.

By now, we’ve been waiting what feels like forever to see the last Dodge Last Call model in the flesh, which will be the seventh and final vehicle in that particular series, one that pays tribute to the ICE muscle car as the brand prepares to go all-electric in the coming years. It’s a bittersweet moment for certain, but one that will at least send a beloved, long running pair of gas-powered models – the Challenger and Charger – into the proverbial sunset in dramatic fashion. For weeks now, the final Dodge Last Call model has been teased via some strange videos starring an animated leprechaun, of all things, but this latest example contains a few enticing possibilities.

The video – dubbed “Scream @ 215 mph” – is pretty blatant about the fact that the final Dodge Last Call model will hit a rather lofty top speed, which would be impressive enough on its own regard. The brand has been rather coy about this particular vehicle thus far, only saying that the seventh and final 2023 “Last Call” special-edition model commemorates the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger, and little else. However, it seems as if the numbers surrounding it will be nothing less than mind-blowing.

We know this because in the video, our scary-looking pot o’ gold-seeking friend is seen yelling into an anemometer, after which a series of numbers pops up that hint at what we can expect from the last and greatest Dodge ICE muscle machine. The screen on that particular device reads 105@(3.02×2.88)=1582, which – if solved – comes out to 105@8.9996=1,582.

There’s been much debate as to what those numbers truly mean, with Motor1 speculating that the 1,582 figure isn’t actually horsepower – but rather, the engine’s CFM, which would represent a hefty jump over the Demon’s rating of 1,150. The 105 part of the equation is believed to be either the size of its throttle body or the engine’s octane rating, which would allow it to run on E85 to generate more power, while some think that the 8.9996 is the car’s quarter-mile E.T. – again, quicker than the Demon. Finally, 3.02 could represent the size of the car’s supercharger pulley.

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too much longer to find out all of the pertinent statistics that will make the very last Dodge Last Call model the most epic one to date, as the car is set to be fully revealed on March 20 at The Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where MotorTrend and Dodge are hosting a special Roadkill Nights event complete with lots of drag racing action and various other forms of entertainment. In the meantime, we’re left to speculate about just how incredible this forthcoming machine will be, and anxiously await more bizarre teasers, too.
