German Tuner Badger Builds Wildest Charger Hellcat Widebody Imaginable
Bader gives this Dodge Charger Hellcat a proper makeover using its own in-house widebody kit.
The Dodge Charger Hellcat has become a modern icon in the automotive world, an uber-powered sedan equally capable of hauling the family and some serious tail. But while we tend to think of the Charger Hellcat and its Challenger counterpart as distinctly American entities, as it turns out, some folks in other parts of the world understand the appeal of owning something like that, too. And that’s why German tuning company S. Bader Karosserie und Lack recently created this wild Charger Hellcat widebody – yet another American muscle car from the company, which is owned by Sebastian Bader.
Bader upgraded this particular Charger on the outside by adding a widebody kit with huge fenders, a front splitter, a Redeye hood, side sills, rear fascia extensions, and a subtle rear spoiler. This particular kit has a bit of Japanese flair to it, which of makes for a melting pot of sorts since we’re talking about an American car built by a German tuner.
Regardless, if this Charger wasn’t wild enough with those new exterior pieces, the car is also rolling on a set of 21-inch five-spoke wheels wrapped with 295/35 tires in the front and a simply massive 355/25 rollers in the rear. To fill out the super wide fenders, Badger added longer axles and 25mm spacers, in spite of the sheer width of the rear rubber, while everything else underneath has been addressed to accompany this modification. Adjustable coilovers helped Badger achieve the perfect stance, too.
This particular car is even sporting a few mods under the hood, which help enhance the car’s supercharger 6.2-liter V8 powerplant. Those include a larger throttle body, cold-air intake, and a larger exhaust. We imagine that it squeezes out a few more ponies than its original rating of 707 horsepower, but who knows?
Those that love the look of this ultra-wide widebody will be happy to know that they don’t have to ship their car to Germany to emulate it on their ride, as Bader sells the kit for 3,990 euros, or around $4,750 using current exchange rates.
