The Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats are the best things to happen to Dodge since the Viper. The automotive press has celebrated the Hellcat brothers so much, you’d think there was an In-N-Out Burger truck rolling into a press launch. That’s the effect 707 horsepower has.

But you want to know what’s better than 707 horsepower? Doubling it to 1,414. That’s what our friends at Motor Authority did when they recently got their hands on two Hellcats: the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.

What do you do when you are given keys to 1,414 horsepower and 1,300 lb-ft of torque? You lose your mind. Indeed, as you can see from the galleries, our Motor Authority colleagues lost their minds by using the Hellcats’ absolute power to corrupt two pairs or rear tires absolutely.
