Dodge Charger Lineup

Dodge muscle cars have been gathered in Cleveland for restorations or to save parts for other cars.

The internet is rife with stories on sprawling graveyards of classic Dodge cars that are simply rotting into the ground, but the property shown in the video below is not another sea of vehicles going to waste.

Featured by the Dylan McCool YouTube channel, this property in Cleveland, Georgia may look like a wasteland of rotting Mopar muscle cars, but this is not the end of the line. Some of these cars are being sold as whole for restoration. Others are being constantly stripped down, taking every salvageable component for use in restoration of other cars, with some pristine Dodge muscle cars on hand showing that this isn’t your average old car hoard.

In the video below from AutoEvolution, we get a good look at the many sights around the property, including some of the cars for sale, some of the cars being used for parts and some of the clean cars that are stored inside.

Acres of Muscle

The majority of this video is filmed outside, showing acres upon acres of classic cars, many of which are for sale. The video focuses on Dodge and Plymouth models, but there appears to be some other brand vehicles mixed in as well.

Dodge Demon

Early in the video, we get a look at a 1971 Dodge Demon – or the majority of it. It is missing a hood, the whole drivetrain, the front suspension and other exterior bits, but for someone looking to build a VIN-correct Demon 340, this is a great basis. Next, he looks at a Petty Blue 340 Challenger with an array of rally appearance bits, although they may not be original. In any case, it needs to be restored, as does what may or may not be a 1970 AAR Cuda a few spots away. Of course, there are also many, many second generation Chargers of varying quality.

1971 Dodge Charger

Later on in the video, we see a 1971 Dodge Charger R/T with a 440 along with several other B-body Mopars, including Satellites and Road Runners. In short, if you can name a classic Mopar muscle car, there is probably one on the grounds in this video. We don’t see any Superbirds or Charger Daytonas, but we may have missed it. Beyond that, this place seems to have one of everything.

Pristine Dodge and Plymouth for Sale

When the video host first heads inside, we see a handful of classic V8 engines that appear to be in pretty rough shape, but the camera quickly jumps to a gorgeous 1970 Dodge in white with black hood trim boasting of the 440-cubic inch engine. There is also a dark green 1971 Charger, a black 1970 Charger and an orange 1969 Charger. McCool focuses on the white-and-black ‘70 Charger RT/SE, showing us the 440 “six pack” engine, the black interior with a pistol grip shifter, a gator skin mod top, power brakes, three-speed windshield wipers, power steering and the matching white steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps.

1970 Dodge Charger

While there are many Dodge Chargers on the grounds, there are plenty of classic Plymouth muscle cars, too. During the initial sweep through the main building, the cars mentioned above are joined by a bright blue Road Runner a yellow 1971 Cuda. After showcasing the white 1970 Charger RT/SE, the host turns his attention to the blue Road Runner. He points out that it is a survivor, with minimal restoration work done over the years. The engine and transmission have been pulled and refreshed and there has been some minor paint touch-up work, but the car is otherwise original.

Dodge Charger

After looking at those clear cars, McCool heads back to a row of second generation Dodge Chargers that are parked at an angle, all of which have for sale signs attached to the A pillar (shown above). One of the guys who seems to be with the property explains that most of these cars have received frame reinforcements and mini-tubs in the rear, making them prime options for anyone looking to do a big power street build. Most of them are in primer, requiring minimal bodywork, but one has patina for anyone who wants to maintain that weathered look.

The video tour of this amazing property is lengthy, so grab a drink and a snack, get comfortable and enjoy this walk-through of one of the most amazing Dodge and Plymouth salvage collections we have ever seen.

"Before I was old enough to walk, my dad was taking me to various types of racing events, from local drag racing to the Daytona 500," says Patrick Rall, a lifetime automotive expert, diehard Dodge fan, and respected auto journalist for over 10 years. "He owned a repair shop and had a variety of performance cars when I was young, but by the time I was 16, he was ready to build me my first drag car – a 1983 Dodge Mirada that ran low 12s. I spent 10 years traveling around the country, racing with my dad by my side. While we live in different areas of the country, my dad still drag races at 80 years old in the car that he built when I was 16 while I race other vehicles, including my 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and my 1972 Dodge Demon 340.

"Although I went to college for accounting, my time in my dad’s shop growing up allowed me the knowledge to spend time working as a mechanic before getting my accounting degree, at which point I worked in the office of a dealership group. While I was working in the accounting world, I continued racing and taking pictures of cars at the track. Over time, I began showing off those pictures online and that led to my writing.

"Ten years ago, I left the accounting world to become a full-time automotive writer and I am living proof that if you love what you do, you will never “work” a day in your life," adds Rall, who has clocked in time as an auto mechanic, longtime drag racer and now automotive journalist who contributes to nearly a dozen popular auto websites dedicated to fellow enthusiasts.

"I love covering the automotive industry and everything involved with the job. I was fortunate to turn my love of the automotive world into a hobby that led to an exciting career, with my past of working as a mechanic and as an accountant in the automotive world provides me with a unique perspective of the industry.

"My experience drag racing for more than 20 years coupled with a newfound interest in road racing over the past decade allows me to push performance cars to their limit, while my role as a horse stable manager gives me vast experience towing and hauling with all of the newest trucks on the market today.

"Being based on Detroit," says Rall, "I never miss the North American International Auto Show, the Woodward Dream Cruise and Roadkill Nights, along with spending plenty of time raising hell on Detroit's Woodward Avenue with the best muscle car crowd in the world.
