Bid on One of the Craziest Pickup Trucks Ever Made

With only 161 miles on the clock, this 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 should fetch a large amount of money.
Automakers don’t offer fast, performance-oriented pickup trucks anymore. Today’s high-performance pickup trucks are built to traverse terrain, not blitz the quarter-mile. But that wasn’t always the case. Now, one lucky enthusiast has the opportunity to buy one of the most manic pickup trucks ever made.

This 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 is currently on Bring a Trailer with bidding at $20,800 and three days left to go. While the price is a steal now, there’s no way it will actually go that cheaply.
Like new, this example has an incredibly low 161 miles on the odometer. Mileage is so low, in fact, that the truck’s 500 horse, 525 pound-feet 8.3-liter V10 (sourced from the Viper) hasn’t even been broken in yet.
Even better, this truck doesn’t have the four-speed automatic gearbox, but the six-speed manual transmission. When’s last time you heard about a modern pickup truck with a manual gearbox?
The truck is claimed original with its Mineral Grey Metallic exterior paint scheme, 22-inch polished wheels, and heavy-duty brakes. The interior also shows minimal signs of wear, with a Medium Slate Grey interior, heavily-bolstered sport seats, a Hurst short shifter, and aluminum accents.

If you’re after one of the fastest straight-line trucks ever, this Dodge Ram SRT-10 certainly fits the bill. When new, the pickup carried a price tag of $51,830, which was a steal back then. With its low miles and like-new condition, we expect this truck to get close to its original starting price.
