The folks at Pennzoil are running a contest right now in cooperation with Tim McGraw’s Two Lanes of Freedom Concert Tour to give away a customized 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT. In addition to a collection of Mopar performance goodies, the McGraw Challenger SRT is clad a unique color scheme inspired by the artwork on his Two Lanes of Freedom album cover.

The custom 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT serving as the Pennzoil contest grand prize wears a colorful paint scheme with light blue covering much of the body and orange along the lower portions with red stripes along the sides and flanking the thick black hood stripe that flares around the windshield at the cowl.  A set of  HRE racing wheels with a bronze finish and the Mopar T/A style hood cap off the exterior upgrades.

On the inside, the Tim McGraw Two Lanes of Freedom custom Dodge Challenger SRT wears Katzkin perforated leather seats with McGraw’s signature on the seat backs with a similar color scheme to that featured on the outside.  Also, to enjoy McGraw’s work to the fullest, this custom Challenger is fitted with a Harman Kardon high end audio system with two 10-inch subwoofers and a 900 watt amplifier.

Like all of the 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT coupes, the McGraw Challenger is powered by the 392 cubic inch Hemi mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.  This affords the brawny Mopar muscle car the ability to dash from 0-60 in the 4 second range while running through the quarter mile in the 12 second range en route to a top speed of 182 miles per hour.  Mopar has added a catback exhaust system, a cold air intake, front and rear a strut tower braces and a lowering spring kit that works with the 3-mode SRT selectable suspension setup.  I would also guess that this custom Challenger has Pennzoil fluids in the high performance Hemi V8.

All you have to do to enter is click here to visit the Pennzoil website and click the “Enter Here” button running in the contest banner alongside the Grand Prize 2013 Challenger SRT.  In addition to the Grand Prize, Pennzoil is including a First Prize for 40 lucky winners and a Second Prize that will go to 50 people.  First Prize is a set of JBL by Harman Tim McGraw on-ear headphones and Second Prize is a Tim McGraw Concert Tour poster.

This contest only runs until July 31st, 2013 so head to the Pennzoil site right away to enter for your chance to win the gorgeous custom Challenger designed by country music legend Tim McGraw.  Check out the video below for a look at the design process behind the car!

"Before I was old enough to walk, my dad was taking me to various types of racing events, from local drag racing to the Daytona 500," says Patrick Rall, a lifetime automotive expert, diehard Dodge fan, and respected auto journalist for over 10 years. "He owned a repair shop and had a variety of performance cars when I was young, but by the time I was 16, he was ready to build me my first drag car – a 1983 Dodge Mirada that ran low 12s. I spent 10 years traveling around the country, racing with my dad by my side. While we live in different areas of the country, my dad still drag races at 80 years old in the car that he built when I was 16 while I race other vehicles, including my 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and my 1972 Dodge Demon 340.

"Although I went to college for accounting, my time in my dad’s shop growing up allowed me the knowledge to spend time working as a mechanic before getting my accounting degree, at which point I worked in the office of a dealership group. While I was working in the accounting world, I continued racing and taking pictures of cars at the track. Over time, I began showing off those pictures online and that led to my writing.

"Ten years ago, I left the accounting world to become a full-time automotive writer and I am living proof that if you love what you do, you will never “work” a day in your life," adds Rall, who has clocked in time as an auto mechanic, longtime drag racer and now automotive journalist who contributes to nearly a dozen popular auto websites dedicated to fellow enthusiasts.

"I love covering the automotive industry and everything involved with the job. I was fortunate to turn my love of the automotive world into a hobby that led to an exciting career, with my past of working as a mechanic and as an accountant in the automotive world provides me with a unique perspective of the industry.

"My experience drag racing for more than 20 years coupled with a newfound interest in road racing over the past decade allows me to push performance cars to their limit, while my role as a horse stable manager gives me vast experience towing and hauling with all of the newest trucks on the market today.

"Being based on Detroit," says Rall, "I never miss the North American International Auto Show, the Woodward Dream Cruise and Roadkill Nights, along with spending plenty of time raising hell on Detroit's Woodward Avenue with the best muscle car crowd in the world.
