Here's a video that Brent and I made; it shows you how well the truck responds to the trans options. Pay particular attention to how easily the truck downshifts. This video should really make the wait much easier... Enjoy!

Awesome video Matt! Thanks for sharing.

The lightest touch of the throttle gets the shifts going. No lugging or bogging. Transmission finally shifting the way it should. Folks are going to love this program.

I have flashpaq 3815 and i want to upgrade to cortex 3950 or flashpaq 3685 to get this trans. option.
Does cortex and flashpaq have 100% same feature?
Cortex cost few more dollars, so what do i get for those extra dollars.

The cortex has a powertrain warranty. If you're going to start adding a bunch of mods anyways, stick with the 3865. They have the same features.

Man, it's kinda pissing me off that I'm going to miss out on this because my truck is too old. But it's nice to know it'll be there when I eventually upgrade.

So I've spent the last week reading every post on here and it was alot of good info. My question is... I know it's still a lil while before you get to the 4.7s but are there going to be beta testers needed for this application?

I'm sure that a few of us from DF with 4.7's are going to be able to participate in the beta testing of this feature, as for the years that may still need a few I'm not sure, Sil may chime in soon, hopefully What year is your 4.7? 08 here. Just late enough to get the 4.7's new horses
