I agree with Teach, seems as tho if you didn't rag the crap out of it constantly you would be ok.

You'll really have to play with the settings because, it's fully customizable. This isn't going to be simply choosing a performance level for the transmission.

You'll have to set what you like in feel for your daily driver or track truck.

How many settings are we going to be looking at? Is it going to be something like the sliding scale we have when we change the shift points in the current tuning?

Sliding scale, but the parameters on screen will be different. It won't be canned transmission settings so to speak. There will be certain parameters you'll be able to set. If you want to stick with the SC shift schedule, you can do that. If you want to set stock PT shifts and set your 1-2, 2-3 over stock, you can do that. If you want to set your PT up/dn shifts to your liking and set your 1-2, 2-3, you can do that. The beauty is, you'll be able to set the transmission to your particular feel. Keep in mind, this doesn't even take into account that you'll also be able to customize TM and line pressure as well.

The engineer is wanting this to be the best product possible and as we go through this initial pre-beta testing phase, he's tweaking and adding things as he studies the program.

When I'm allowed to give some detail about the GUI, I will.

I know how you feel. I work full time and my commute is 3 hours a day. You won't be able to help yourself and mess with it good.

Another little update: TM will be adjustable for PT and WOT shifts.
