Whoa !! what just happened
"ok" I think E T just had a hold on my car.
Car : 95 avenger 5 speed 4 cyl DOHC vin # has a Y in it.
Problem : I think the starter is going, She will lop as you hid the starter like a flat spot for a few tries then she will start.
My story : About an hour ago when i left work i turned key to run position then with trans in 2nd gear i let roll on slight grade and poped the clutch to start car, All seemed to go well.
I drove across parking lot to main building to drop off my shift paperwork, Left car running, then with heater off, lights on, a/c off, raido on and drivers window open about 3 inches headed for home about 10 miles. I got to the 1st traffic light turned right and went about 100 yards when all the lights in the upper left corner of the speedo cluster flashed 3 times, car bucked like a pissed off horse then died. Yes died with not even a light burning right there in the middle of the road, no hazards no nothing like someone just unhooked the battery. Since i was on an incline in the road and midnight with no other car around i let it roll back into a church parking lot. I dug out my flash light to have a look see and when i opened the door and closed it all the lights came back on, I started the car with the key and drove the next 8 miles home with no problem. Ok i'm confused how about you ???. Yes the battery is new if your wondering.
