Default Window Vent guards....?

Im talking about those black strips that go over the window. So you can have your window down a little and keep the rain out.My question is, i found them forsale at an auto place online. Then i got to thinking about it.Dont they hook to your door lip?Dodge avengers dont have door lips.So how would these be installed?Or are these guys just trying to dupe me?So if any of you out there bought a set of these, or know for a fact they wont fit.Let me know. Thanks!

They use sticky tape to the black moulding at the top of the window

Hello Everyone.
This is my first time in the forum. About Window Vent guards you can put them in your Avenger but they are shorter than the vent guards you put in other cars, because you need to open the door. About the rain, these things won't keep it out because they are short. You can put those just for fun. I got those on my Avenger because I didn't want to get myself wet when smoking in the rain but after I put them on it wasn't much of a difference. But the car looks better. I will put some pictures so you can see them and they are very easy to install.
