Anyone know if all Avengers are wired for fog lights or was the wireing part of the option package. As i stated before i will soon be replacing the rad support in my Avenger. When i got the replacement rad support from the junk yard i also grabed the factory fog lights. The car allready has the fog light switch on the dash, I added that last year when i replaced the cruise control switch but did not notice ( or can't remember )if the wiring was in the dash.

 

Your car should be wired for it already. The wires should be prerun to keep downtime to a minimum. Look for the wiring around the foglight opening and radiator framing. Do you see that white ziptie, that's my foglight wiring. Yours most likely won't be like that, but the pic is to give you a round about area.


Inside, the removable panel to the left of the instrument cluster area as seen in this pic.

 

it's a crap shoot some are prewired some are not , some have wiring inside the car and others have just the outer underhood wiring ... no logic at all to this ...

 

well then that leaves me right back where i started . When i pull the front end of the car apart in a couple weeks to do the rad support i'll look for the wires and if there not there i'll get the factory harnes to add or run new wiring thru a relay then to the switch. Thanks for your time guys.
