Default Paint Stock Spoiler

hey everyone, i have a 1997 dodge avenger ES and the stock spoiler on my car is So faded that it deserves a new coat of paint. and i have also been thinking about getting an aftermarket spoiler... and if i were to go take it to a paint shop how much u think it they would charge me for them to spray the spoiler. or would it just be a better deal to go out and buy aftermarket?

Around $100 for paint/prep ...
An Aftermarket spoiler would require the trunk lid holes to be filled , then repainted ... Then the aftermarket spoiler painted around $300 + Spoiler

Depends on where you go....I have a shop i go to, that charged me 200 bucks to fill the holes on my trunk, and repaint the whole trunk aswell as the factory spoiler.Search around until you find the best price.

ok, i went to my local paint shop, and he said that the type of paint i have on my car is VERY expensive per pint, (it is red) he said that i should instead of shooting it red again, he suggestedto shoot it with BLACK. because i have really dark tinted windows and the rear brake light covers are black so it would stand out. so thats just what he suggested. Now he can reshoot it with the same red, but he thought it would look good with black. Any opinions on how red with a black spoiler would look... what do you guys think...

IMO paint it red ... the red (I'm assuming indy red) isn't that expensive ... mine is three times the price for paint
