Default cps'replacement

Iam chainging my cps and was woundering if the wires were not hooked up right if that would hurt the new cps. and if not , that means i may have done so and can switch them and pray it starts. If it does and i did thenI gotta get new one, and if it does andI did not thenI still dont know why my car just wont start
I opened up the timen' belt compartment, and had wife try to start the car....The timen' belt moves so does that mean that my starter is ok?

You shouldn't have wire issues since you're dealing with a male and female plugs, shooter. Did you have to splice the wires together instead?
If the motor is trying to turn over, then yes, the start is doing it's job.

Hmmm, you should have gotten one that plugged right in. Did you go to Autozone by chance, lol. They always have the wrong or generic parts.
