I put in new batt and alternater and now im soundless. But it done it before the new alternater was in. i have a stock infinity amp and stereo and the cd player and radio work fine. i can change cd tracks and see the counter ticking up. and i can tune in radio stations. all this and NO audio. I have checked all of my dash and underhood fuses.And my stereo doesnt say anything about a code.PLEASE help out...or do i just need a new amp and stereo with some state of the art tsunami wiring??? Im driving a 99 avenger es

 

Check for 12 volts at the amp (thicker gauge wire forget the color red???). Also check the remote wire at the amp for 12 volts (white wire/black/silver dots

 

I had the same problem on my 95 - turns out there is an in-line fuse (not in the fuse block) for the Infinity amp in the trunk, took my dealer forever to find it - they even changed the radio head in the dash before they finally found it. I don't know exactly where the fuse is though!
