So, i was in a head on collision with my crotch rocket May 15th.I was really lucky,
I hit a car head on while trying to pass a truck.The truck i was trying to pass sped up
and wouldnt let me pass.I hit hit the one car landed on the top of the roof, flew off that car
and got hit by the one behind it, bounced off that car and slid on the pavement.Flew 68 feet
from point of impact.I broke my pinky toe, and pinky finger, and have some road rash.Really lucky
I didnt have proper riding gear on, wife beater, shorts....Totalled out my bike and the first car i hit.

Needless to say i have been layed up for about 4 weeks now.I hobbled out to my venge today to see if it would start, since i havent drove it in awhile.It started right up, but the check engine light came on and the car was shaking, vibrating.Dont have any idea what the problem is.Its a 98 ES, and it ran fine 4 weeks ago.Any help would be great....thanks guys....

 

It may just be old gas, Zane. It's not always true, but a month is a long time for it to just sit there. Mine has started like that when I've gone TDY somewhere and come back only for it to run like she's about to die out.
Will it rev to higher RPMs just fine? Will it rev to higher RPMs and while holding it at say 3k-3.5k, does it sound normal?
Take it out on the highway/interstate and run some of that gas out and then fill it back up with some new gas.
I've also used injector cleaner. It will help dry up and condensation that may have accumulated in the tank.
Try that and let us know.

Dude, sorry to hear about your accident! Man, you're right, you were very lucky! The way I see it, you wore nothing to protect your body and the worse of it was a broken pinky toe and pinky. That right there my friend is lucky. Good to hear that your doing good after that. You have 8 more, spend them wisely, lol.

Thanks Silver, ill try that.May be awhile before i can drive it though....im not supposed to put any pressure on my foot because of the pins.You guys will be first to know though lol.Just may be a few weeks....
As far as the Halos, i did install them.They look amazing, ill try to post some pics, this is not my ride though.I know a guy thats selling them for 40 bucks shipped, any color you want if you dont want to make them your self.

hey Zane, those look sick... but they dont look like they give off much light.. do they shine out on the road good or is visibility very limited.... how are they for driving at night?

 

r those different healights like r they projectors custom put in with the stock headlights taken out like i cant figure out how to put the halos in after the headlights are taken out

 

WOW i like them alot. they will go great with my hid's. i think ima get me aset next week il email you later about them. And you say there not to hard to put in huh. does it come with just two of them or four of them? and would he sell four of them a bit cheaper than 80 bucks you think????? thanx for the pics i have been waiting to see them!!
