Default Time for new Brake Pads? or Shoes?

Hey guys

I am getting almost like a grinding feel whenever I apply the brakes and the harder I push down on it the more it seems to feel grinding. This is a common symptom of worn brake pads?

Yes ... pull the wheels and look ....normally the wear indicators screech before you reach the grinding point though

well if its more of a squeal than a grind than it would be pads. im guessing it could be the rotors... they might be warped.
i would get a new set of rotors and some new pads to go with it..
