RE: CPS Replacement ?
Ok now I'm throwing code 43 since I did the distributor! I also replaced the plugs, wires and did the the crank sensor when the problem first happened. I have no idea why I'm throwing this code now. Does anyone have any thoughts on it? And as far as the distributor it appeared there were two different rotors for each distributor so I bought the the one that my old rotor fit on. This it driving me nuts and I still have a exhaust pipe to replace yet but no time with all these other problems. Any help would be greatly apprieciated!

RE: CPS Replacement ?
I would make sure that the distributor that you have is the correct one since there were two to pick from. Did you happen to pull the part number from your old distributor?
If you can return that part do so and get one from NAPA. Their parts are more like OEM than Autozone/Checkers/Pep Boys, etc. I would even find one from a junk yard.
The distributor may not even be the issue with the misfire. It can be a bunch of stuff still. It could be your plugs and wires, gapping, crank/cam sensors, rotor, etc. (all revisited, lol).
I'm pretty sure that you did, but did you disconnect the battery throughout all this? Another thing to make sure is that you replaced all the motor grounds back onto its original locations? The motor is like one big electrical distribution block with sensors + here and there and without proper grounds, those sensors + aren't going to work correctly.
AvengerInIndiana, yes you could have gotten the wrong distributor. Make sure you got one for the 6g73 2.5L. Also check the other things mentioned above.
