Grill grills
Yes it was like 4 bucks and maybe 20 minutes of measuring, cutting, and installing. Oh and the 4 bucks was 4 sheets of which I only used 2 but could have probably done it in 1. I did have to use all 8 of the clips they come with though. Each sheet came with 2 clips on it.
First go to Lowes, Home Depot or where ever you can find Hinged Gutter Guard.
The pack I bought had 4 sheets, each with 2 clips.
You need 8 clips so that worked out.
Grab a pair of metal shears, tin snips or diagonal cutter to cut the metal.
Take off the clips, just use a small flat head screwdriver then slightly bend the clip open.
Take a sheet and cut it to about 16" by 2 3/4" you need 2 of these for the top inserts.
Bend the upper edge of the insert inward, there are tabs on the bumper skin that need to be cleared
Next cut out the bottom inserts, they are about 13 1/4" by 2 1/4" again you need 2
Cut the angles, nothing percise it's just to make it fit.
Cut and bend little tabs a couple inches in to mount the clips to.
Attach the clips.
Close the clips a little so they attach to the bumper skin securely, to little and they push off easily to much and they are hard to push on the skin, error toward tight.
Insert the inserts one at a time and push the clips onto bumper skin.
Sit back, enjoy a cold brew, and admire your work ...
