Need advice: I keep hearing screeching sounds when I brake.
I had new brake pads and rotors installed but I still keep hearing the screeching sound.
I feel like the sound is coming from the back. I took my Avenger to two different mechanics, they test drove it and they said they heard nothing. But I am hearing still hearing the screeching sound.
I need help on this issue because I am tired of the screeching sound.

Either your brakes are sticking and there gettin hot or they are wet. Either way just take off your brakes put them in the sun or oven till they get hot and get sum No Brake squeel solution. Its a lil whitebottle, one per axel (4 pads) I don't know where to get it from cuz we get itat the shop but Iwanna say I seen autozone selling it.

I put that anti-squeal gel on everything on the back of the brake pad. The high pitch squeal is the high frequency vibration that those parts make. The anti-squeal gel just holds them in place so that they don't squeal. If you put it on the wrong areas it won't help.
That or your pads are loose enough to vibrate on the rotors or even dust on the pads (not good btw, that equals scoring). If you're missing that piece of metal that holds the pads in place, that could also be your issue.
Here's a pic for you.

Hey there SilverCoupe97,
Thanks for your advice.
The calibers in the back look pretty worn. Very rusty. Do you think that is the problem? I can take pictures.
But if the calibers are the problem, how come the mechanics didn't hear the sound?
Thanks for your advice.
