Default Siphoning Gas

I'm having a hell of a time siphoning the gas outta my 97 Avenger, is there a better way? All I have is a simple siphon, but it only seems to go down so far, feels like its hitting a wall, and all I get is air every time.

why are you siphoning ???
If you really want to siphon it dry remove the rear seat then remove either the fuel sender or the fuel pump and siphon from there

U really don't wanna know y? It alwasy worked fine for me just a long tube and pull the fluid out. You could also disconect the fuel filter and hook it up from there.
