this morning when i pulled my ebrake up on my avenger i heard a snapping sound and the brake now is not working. I was wondering if anyone could kinda tell me what may have happened and how maybe i could fix it, instead of having to take it in to be repaired. It is a standard transmission '96 Avenger. thanks for any input!!

 

you likely broke a cable or something you'll have to get under the car and look ... one cable runs back then it splits between the hubs
