ok, ive heard somewhere that the engine in the older avengers were the same engins as in a mitsubishi eclipse... 2 questions... 1. is this true? and 2, if so, does this mean any engine upgrades i wanna get (intakes, exhaust, etc.) i can buy for the eclipse of the same year (98) and it would fit/work with my car?

then alot of the gs/rs eclipse parts will fit intake headers cat back will have to be lengthend a little and other odds and ends they are both the 420 a motor so i assume any 420a part i think the neons as well i got a msd coil pack from either a neon or eclipse and it fit my car

 

95/99 eclipse parts will work ... exhaust needs 8" added to it

 

So I've got a question pertaining to my venge, not meaning to highjack your thread but I have a 98 as well but it's the V6 model, so would I be able to use the same bolt ons?

 

yes intake and exhast will work with the v6 as well
