I've recently bought a 97 avenger, but the rear-right turn signal is burned out. I've got a new bulb, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get to the old bulb to change it. I've got the screws out of the panel in the trunk that leads to it, but Istill can't see how I can get it out. Anyone else with a 97 know how?

 

hmmm... if the lights are the same as the 99' then there should be three or four bolts that hold the light in place, i took the bolts off and it popped it off.... if im remebering correctly... i will take pictures tomorrow and post them and give you a step to step inless your question is answered already by then...

 

Pull down the carpet , remove the 10mm nuts push out on the "bolts the tail light comes off replace bulb reverse procedure ...
or take it to autozone they'll do it ...

 

ok i thought i was rembering right.... i had to do it for my lights too
