Default NOISE

k well whenever i hit a bump or anything it sounds like the car is bottoming out. is this the struts going, or is it a ball joint..

Could be ball joints,bad bushings,bad strut bar end link,shot struts ECT ECT

ya i think it might be he struts but idk, is there a way of telloing by myself not taking it in.

i believe the last time i had something like that fixed it was a bushing. pretty sure. the other side is going out now too and ive been told to get that one done now. if none of them have been replaced in awhile, it may not be a bad idea to have all of them looked at...

Take it to the dealer for the free ball joint recall ... while it's up in the air ask them if they see anything else ...

i would but i bought it used, so i cant do the dealer thing, but wouldnt the wheel be really wobbly if it was a ball joint?

It's a lifetime recall and it covers the car not the owner .....Some members are on their third set for free

ya i just took it in and it is the ball joint, for both sides it wil be 538 so i have to start saving , thanks for all your help.

Its a RECALL for the LIFETIME of the car you dont have to pay anything call them back and tell them to perform the balljoint recall and it will be 100% free.... dont pay for it

well i tok it to merlin, i am not the original owner, i dont know where the car was first purchased, it was used. i dont think i can.
