I have a 95 venge with a 2.0 DOHC motor. Lately the transmission is kicking out of 3rd and 5th gear. Since the tranny more than likly has to come out and the car has 175,000 i thought I would pull the motor and do a refreshining, rings bearings, ect... Is there any thing in perticular that I need to repair or replace while I am doing it. Have done many engine rebuilds including Diesel and have a nice clean shop to do it in so this is not new teterory. Also is there any mild performance mods to do internaly. Not planning on ever adding a turbo or making this car real fast (I have a Hot Rod Cummins for that) but would like to squeeze a little more MPG if at all possible. Thanks
