Dash speakers
I have a question about the dash speakers on my 1996 Avenger. I already bought the replacement Bose 301 tweeters as recommended on this forum, my question is do the covers on the dash speakers just pop off or do I have to take the whole dash off to get to them?
Next question is I am going to replace my door and rear speakers as well. I have the infinity amp with the factory stereo (which I would just assume keep). I have read that the amp has a built in crossover for the door and dash speakers, so does that mean that I shouldn't look for a strong tweeter set up in the door speaker and just look for good, solid woofers since the tweeters are routed tothe front. I don't want to disable the amp and bypass it, just keep it the way it is with new speakers.
Thought I would ask before I tear up my dash by digging around. Thanks in advance.

dash tweets just pop out get a screwdriver in and pry up they are held in with butyl rubber
if you were replacing the door speakers I would have recomended getting a component set thus using the tweets for the dash and the midrange for the door no tweeter really needed
