Default Creaking Noise

ok i have a 1997 dodge avenger and recently ive had some sort of Creaking/groaning noise in my front end. I no it has somthing to do with the Tire area. but it almost sounds like a creaky door opening when i TURN. and usually it only happens when i turn the opposite way of that wheel. any ideas. i just had the wheel bearing replaced about a week ago and the guy told me my strut was going bad would the strut make this sound.

This is EXACTLY what my car did for about 6 months before the ball joints/drive axle broke. Did you take your car in for the recall? I was never notified about it and replaced them TWICE at my own expense before I learned about it on this forum. (the parts I got when I self-replaced them were from salvaged Avengers of course I couldn't figure out why it would break TWICE in one week...)

I have only owned the car for about a year now therefore have not taken it in for any recalls. i do not know if it has been taken in for any recalls from the past owners. but i will be taking it in this weekend to have it looked at. hopefully it will hold out till then

I'm hoping you checked to see if this car had the balljoints replaced as per the recall. A non-dealer shop will not know about this and just keep repairing it to no avail. I had my axle replace too but it just broke again a week later cuz of bad ball joints.
