Hey I have a 1999 Avenger Sport v6 and it seems to be overheating a bit. We recently chagned the thermostat and that helped for a while but the problem still exists. Its only when the car is at crawling speeds or completly stoped. Both fans are on and seem to be working fine. Coolent levels are fine too, we just dont get it. Thanks for the help -kyle

 

Try a radiator cap ....It might be releasing too soon

 

Do you know about a relief valve in the cooling system to release intrapted air? We heard from someone that there was one and were wondering if it was working. Thanks - Kyle

 

I'm not aware of any such valve ...
