i got a questoin may sound stupid but whatever... isnt it true that since our cars, or my 95 avebger anyways, dont have a MAF sensor they opperate on speed density... so basiclay the pcm doesnt know you are pulling in more/denser air, and unless you reprogram your pcm it is almost pointless?

It has sensors that figures incoming air TEMP and uses the O2 sensors to adjust to the proper ratio with the fuel it LEARNS that you have an intake

So i went to many performance shops and all of them searched for K&N and AEM intakes and both of those brands DONT make intakes for 95 avenger ES's anymore. So i was thinking weapon R, but i talked to one of my car buddies and he said that weapon R isnt the best way to go but if theres nothing else to settle for it. Straight up what do you think is the best intake that i should get is? (since K&N and AEM dont make them)

I have a weapon R on my 97 2.5, and its great. To hell with the idea of a no name intake, you ALWAYS get what you pay for. I love mine though, gives a little extra power and sounds great.
