Default Cold Air Intakes?

I got a 95 Dodge Avenger ES, and my next mod I want for it is a Cold Air Intake System. Iwanna boost up my Avengers horsepower.I was looking on the net for the best kinds, the best ones i've seen so far would be, K&N, Bank, True Flow, and Injen. Another thing is that I dont wanna give my car a "ricer" sound, I want that muscle car roar.

Whats the best intake's that you guys have seen/heard of?

Get a no namer off of ebay.. it is so much cheaper cost me 12 bucks. threw away the old intake and bought a weapon R intake cost me like 50 bucks... The intake tube is just a tube theres nothing special about them except their name is on it whoop de doo.... spent all together about 65-70 bucks.. saved a lot of money

and this is why you don't listen to people that don't know any better.

you obviously have not done your research.

go look into AEM intakes and then try and say "a tube is just a tube"

AEM is the best intake you can buy IMO.

iceman intakes are good but are not available anymore.

actually iceman had the largest gains due to thermal insulation of the tubeing ... the aluminum of the aem heats up due to underhood temperatures

I've got a carbon fiber intake also higher gains due to thermal insulation properties

Anything that pull's in heat from the engine bay is crap for power.

That is why a ture cold air intake is better than a short ram.

I think the only short ram intake that is any good is the K&N one because it sheilds away the heat and the tube is made out of plastic.

But you can't buy are cool MSD kit if you have the K&N System.

Here is a link to some intakes and buying from us helps out people who are trying out new products for your car
