Default Rimtalk

Hi im new to the forums and not that familiar with cars so ill give it a shot.

As of recent i've obtained a 1998 dodge Avenger ES and it has 2 of the stock rims with it but two totally different ones. I was wondering if there is a such thing as a 19X8 rim with the same 'look' as the stock 17x7(i believe these are the right dimensions)ones. If so where abouts would i be able to purchase them on the net. But if there is no such thing and im talking nonsense just let me know

Ya, 18 or 19.

EDIT: Well, my goal is to have a little bit bigger rims in the back than the front but not too much bigger. I'm wondering if 18" isnt too much. But for sure i want more width in the back tires, so instead of the 7" stock ones you get i was thinking 9" maybe. Is this possible and wuold it effect my car at all?

well i had 18x8's front and rear on my last avenger and they fit fine, no rubbing. as far as maintaining stock look for the rims you'd just have to search around and see what you can find. and why would you go staggered wheels on a FWD car?

Well, i was thinking about the look mainly. But i have spotted some nice 18x8 rims so i guess ill thinking it over and see what tickles my fancy.

I've alsobeen looking on the net to see if i can find a picture of a venger with more 'widthier' rear rims than front ones but ive yet to find one.

there is an avenger on cardomain (lime green colored one) with 20's. however it is a showcar so i doubt its street driven, going with 20" wheels you'd probably rub a lot. 19's i believe work fine. 8" is the widest i'd go. once you get them on you'll see why.
