Misc Parts
I asked around a while back and it was $300. I just wanted to see if that was in the right price range. I thought about doing it myself but don't have the down time, and dobt I have all the tools
I dont rember indivual prices but I do rember I almost fell out my chair when they told me how much the rings were. I had to rebuild mine I only had 30lbs of compression on the #4 cylinder and was only getting 24 mpg. Now Im getting 30-35 depending on how I drive. Also I am posting the pics of the motor I have for sell as well.
lol you're going to still have the downtime if you pay a shop to do it. you think they'll be done in an hour? and you'll pay out the *** having them do it, you might as well just buy a crate motor then.

We replaced #4 piston, piston rings, rod and main bearings, cam pos sensor, all the gaskets, water pump, and timing belt on the bottom end. That cost me $600. On the head the machine shop shecked it for cracks, did a valve job, replaced all the valve seals, the exaust valve guides, and remove a broke stud, That cost me $258. We replaced all the bearings and seals in the transmission and that cost $180. It is a different car now and I am very happy with it.
