Front Bumper Removal
Hey im kinda new to this so bear with me,
I have a 96 dodge avenger ES V6 2.5L and i have a couple questions. First I need to know if i take the broken front bumper off of my venge and try to replace it with a 97 venge are they compatible without any major problems? If your standing beside the car from the front to back (front on the left, back on the right) my bumper makes a letter C pointing out, while the new one makes a backwards C with the top and bottom further out. If this switch is do-able how hard is it, and most of all I need detailed instructions on how to take the front bumper off.

The 97+ bumper WILL bolt in directly BUT the 96 headlight and turnsignals will NOT fit the bumper so you'll need the 97+ headlights and turnsignals too
Bumper removal ,
Remove inner fenderwell to access two 10mm bolts inside both fenders /be cautious as if they are rusted they will likely break
Remove the 5 10mm bolts and the metal band across the top center of the bumper under the hood
Remove the two phillips screw from under the nose in the upper grill(plastic connectors)
Remove the two turnsignals with the phillips screws /twist the bulbs to remove them
Remove the three 10mm bolts from each headlight, unplug the connectors
Remove the two phillips under the headlights(plastic connectors)

hey thanks bad venge i appreciate it, hey i am not completely sure as to if it is a 97 or not, im just going on the hunch that since it was a differentstyle it was the newer one, not just an option to the 96. Also, will the stock fog lamps on my 96 still work with the 97?
hey just some more info, this is kinda what the new grille looks like, which is like a 98 venge, the guy at thesalvage yard said they are all interchangeable.........how true is this.....and how much shouldi pay for the whole thing bumper, headlights, signals?...(in a salvage yard)
