During acceleration and deceleration my car pretty much starts to hop. If there are any suggestions please post them.

I'm having the same problem. Does it feel like the whole car is shaking and like the engine is bouncing up and down under the hood?

My problem only happens during acceleration. Check your mounts and when was the last time you replaced your fuel pump? For some reason replacing my fuel pump fixed the problem a little, I just need to get my motor mounts now.

Yeah that's exactly what it feels like I was thinking it was the motor mounts but the shakin is pretty extreme. I just bought the car 3 months ago but it sat for a while before thatso it probably wont be a bad idea to change the fuel pump. I'll give it a try.

I'd check the engine /tranny mounts first ... Put the car in gear foot on brakes and rev the motor watch the motor for shifting/rocking ...
