I have a 2008 Avenger it has a popping noise in front end. Will check out the recall you mentioned. Also do you know of these cars having a surge like a jerk in them when they have been driven a while? Mine hasn't done this in the winter but the summer it has real bad at time's. Just depends on how long I run it, I was told to replace the o2 sensors. Checked the coils and gas cap along with the plugs. Can you help me, please. Thanks
