It's NORMAL for the Oil pressure to climb .... Remember you are spinning the pump faster as RPM's INCREASE ... Faster RPM's =More oil pressure

As the RPMs settle so will the oil pressure.

well the way it is is that my gaurge has lines a little below the middle and a little below the top to show the 'optimum' range and it is usually just below that. Think that could cause a problem over the long run??? also I tried seafoaming my intake to see if the valve would come loose but it didn't so I think I may have to get a new EGR vacuum solenoid. Any more idea how I might be able to solve this error???

Next obvious question when was your last oil change ??? What oil you running ??? Check for proper level ???

EGR , remove it and spray the heck out of it with either carb or brake cleaner (it's junk anyway) it might free up

Default Okay.....

I am running the correct amount and the oil has only been in for 1365 and i change every 2k. I am using valvoline.

So just take the EGR and spray it out. How long should I let it sit???

I'll try that tomarrow after work. Tonight I am going out since it's my bday.

Talk to you guys tomarrow to let you know how it goes. I'll be watching for how long to let it sit.

I just flush it out ... Let it sit for say three /five minutes then spray more in ... Hopefully it flushes out the junk

Default Well.....

Thx for the happy b-day SC and BV I will try this. I have not been able to as of yet since I have not been able to have enough free time to work on the car yet. Maybe this saturday I might be able to find some time after work. I'll keep you all updated on what happens to see if I need any more help.

Default Ok. Sorry for how long it took.....

But I do have good news. I found out the reason why my ERG problem existed and I also got the Check Engine light to go off after taking the transducer apart and cleaning it. The problem with my ERG is that there is not one on the car. Whoever owned the car before my sister must have taken it off. There is a plate that is covering the hole in the engine where it mounts to. So I guess my next question is, what will happen if I keep running my engine without it and where can I find a cheap one.

Well you won't pass Emissions testing if you have it ... besides that it was running fine before , so it should be fine without it ...As for cheap junkyard , but it's pricey from the dealer
