I have a 98 Avenger with a 420A 2.0 engine and Auto Tranny I was just wondering if its possible to swap to a Manual tranny if its possible what would it take what tranny could I use and what other things must I change? Has any one done sucha thing if so can you explain in detail what u did.

Yes it's possible and as the 4 cyl came WITH a manual tranny ...
You'll need the tranny from the 4 cyl Avenger , linkages/shifter/clutch /slave cyl/pedals
and I believe the drivers side axle from it

Question

Woould I need too change the TCM and the gauge cluster? Also how about the wirering harness?

No on the gauge cluster ... The TCM is for the automatic .. I'm not aware of one for the manual ... I'm sure there will be wiring for the reverse switch neutral safety ect ect
