Widest tire size?

Anyone know what the widest tire size is that I can put on a 95 base model. I have 215/65/16 on now, but I'm shortly buying some 17's and wondering if I could get any wider on the back end...Thanks for any help!

you could get offset wheels and go as wide as you want, I would suggest a 40mm offset at least. Another option would be to use spacers with your current wheels.
