Replacing parts on the Venge
So i've been starting preventive maintenance on my venge, and started with the spark plugs and wires, not to mention regularly giving in baths which i never EVER used to, hopefully it'll prevent all this salt and ice build up from the winter storms.
Anyways-
What all do you recommend for an avenger?
My problem is i can't do big jobs such as the transmission, but little things i can do without having to tear my car to pieces. And i don't have the time for big projects since i need the car to be running.
Any suggestions for upgrades/ replacements on an '00 Es v6?
Also, i'm about to try running some sea foam through the car and clean out all the old carbon build ups hopefully return it to decent running condition. I heard to do that before an oil change preferably..?

Little stuff I did on my I4 5 speed were, struts and bushings, valve cover gasket(s), plugs and wires, o2 sensors, fuel filter, brakes, rear wheel bearings, headliner, headlight lens and bulbs and was in the process of replacing the carpet. I think thats all lil stuff I did or could do at home. You can do flushes at home to like coolant and P/S. I would get a catch can because its illegal to drain car fluids into the public draining system. with the Power steering fluid you just need to vacumm out the res and refill it a couple times while having some1 cut the wheel back and forth, but don't let the fluid get to low or you get air in the lines and mess up your power steering pump.
As far as the seafoam search for a thread called "Seafoam For The Win" or Seafoam FTW" with a yellow smiley that was created. You can use the seafoam anytime its recommened to change your oil a couple times after using it.

If you don't know much, it's slightly complicated.
But really, even a novice can do it. Just be sure to read the instructions... And just as important... FOLLOW THEM.
Actually, I did feel a difference after. Not a GIANT gain or anything magical. But a difference no less.
Hope that helps.
