I was wondering if the transmission in the 96 Eclipse GS 4cyl (420a motor) would fit a 96 Avenger ES V6 (A604 trans). I was told it wouldn't (without mods at least) because the bolts on the bell housing are different but just wanted to double check with you guys.

 

NO it will not bolt up or even work .... there is only one place that made a stick shift V6 and thats Disturbing Motorsports Check them out
