Default Alternator Help?!

I have a 2000 venge and I'm running 2x12s rockford fosgate t1s with a t1000bd and I have a kinetik hc800 battery and my battery is still getting drained and I plan on replacing my old alternator with another 110 amp one but should I get a HO alternator if possible? I don't know what other ideas there could be without the energy through my battery getting drained. PLEASE HELP!!

PS. I spoke with someone that mentioned installing a HO alternator can't be done because it can't be externally regulated which would cause the alternator to overheat in my car. I was curious if he was right and if so what should I do?

They make HO alts with internal and external regulators so it is possible. This is on my list of to-do's as well, because of my system and the inverter i run in the car.

http://search.stores.ebay.com/Iraggi...089818QQsofpZ0

Iraggi has alternators listed for the 96 - 00 chrysler sebring 2.5l, which is the same 6G73 engine as our v6. I'd have to look around more if your running a 420a

Thanks for the info! I ended up putting a 130 amp alternator in and bought another kinetik hc800 and my car is just fine. Is it possible to fit 4x12s in a avenger?

4 is tough as they will not fit straight and the two side mounts cause cancellation

Ohio Generators made me a 180 amp unit internally regulated
