Cheap and compressor are not usually the same ... junkyards are a good source but hope they give you a warranty or at least an exchange if it's Doa ... unfortunately most shops will charge to evacuate the system and charge it even if it;s bad

Wink

When you turn on the A/C is the center portion of the pulley on the compressor turning?

If not, the system could be down on 134A.....it won't allow the compressor clutch to engae if the system pressure is low.

If I were you I'd take it and have the A/C system checked and recharged.

At least they will be able to tell you what's wrong or if you're lucly it just needs an evacuation and recharge.....
