hey guys do u guys know What it would take to swap (if possible) the V6 engine to an I4 engine on a 98 Avenger.

 

A TON of work ...
New Motor mounts ect are the obvious things ... a COMPLETE rewiring and new computers, New exhaust ect ... The price for parts would likely ecxceed the worth of the car ... Probably better off to trade the car for an I4

 

I already have an 98 avenger that has the I4 in it just rebuilt the engine about 3 months ago. the only thing i dont like about my car is that it has an aftermarket sunroof wich dont work. Now for the price that i could get a new sunroof I could buy another 98 avenger(V6) with a working sunroof can I just swap everything

As mentioned it IS doable but would be a VERY VERY lengthy swap , and a TON of wire chasing/swapping harnesses and computers/sensors/Tranny ect ect
