OK so good news.....I got the speedo working finally. Either it fixed itself or it wasn't making good connection so i tweeked the connecters and now they are working but regardless they are working now. Transmission is shifting from first to fourth without any major hiccups. Shifting is still kinda weird and wont go into OD but i contribute that to only being run on 4 cylinders. I am trying to find out where the wires run for the fuel injectors so that I may try to bypass them to see if there is a short that just needs fixed so I can cancel my appointment on monday.

Help is greatly appreciated

Ok so I am getting a transmission control system malfunction. I think the code was p0700 if I remember correctly. Is the tranny comp bad and if so will the one off of a 4cyl work???

Yep yep. Od light still works. I think it may be the solenoid. Think that may be it. I still have the 4 cyl and the parts are the same so I was thinking about changin it out and seeing if that fixes it

OK so i got it to the shop and good news kinda. There was a break in my wiring harness on the 1 fuel injector line and that was the cause of my speedo and the injectors although they cant read any codes from the tanny. I think the tranny computer is just froze and needs rebooted instead of actually a new TCM so any ideas on how to reboot a TCM. The reason I think that the TCM is still good is because I can get it to shift althrough the gears without a prob but other times it goes straight to limp. Also since the speedo sensor was messed up the input sensor couldve been also and made the tranny go to limp from that. Any help would be appreciated. :P

update.....

So it is still in limp mode but is giving off the code Shift Solenoid A Malfunction....

Is that my transmission pack saying that its out for the count or what???

Default Update!!!!

okay so i order the new solenoid and let me tell ya its nice to have a car again. I ended up being 3 quarts low on fluid though. Guess more came out than what I initially thought. After getting the fluid to the right level now and the new pack the car feels like a completely different beast and is roaring at the higher rpms. Not a bad thing since its from the cold air intake i put on so no harm no foul. Just wanted to tell everyone that i solved the problem and with the solenoid u just bolt it on with the new gaskets. No solvent or nothing.
