ok, i have a 95 v6 avenger...and when i drive over 40/45 mph the car feels like it's jerking backwards..and it is very random when it does it. the car might go for 5/10 miles..then start doing it and do it ever 30 seconds or so...or every 5 seconds then 15...like i said sporatic. It doesn't jerk enough to cause any noticable rpm change or speed change..just in feel. ANY idea what could cause this? could be related to my idle problem as well...when im at a stop sign the idle rpm's usually dip constanly until i get going...i am going to run seafoam through the system and clean the IAC and EGR in the near future.. but any thoughts?

 

If it was an idle issue you'd see the rpms jump around

I'd guess motor mounts /or tranny/ torque convertor
