Default 1995 Dodge Avenger Just Dies

I have a 95 Avenger with a 2.0 Auto.A few weeks ago I pulled in to my drive way and car just stalled and would not start.I coasted down alittle bit and started back up.Well now I will be driving and it will just stall.I have replaced all the Relays for Fuel Pump and ADS.I just installed a new fuel pump and have 40 psi when Iding.I still have the stalling problem.I do the check engine light test and keep getting error 12 (battery has been unhooked, which i did replace battery but I thought I drove it enough) then 55. I have noticed twice when it had a hickup the check engine light and battery light came on for a second.Well not the car will be just driving and die, sometimes it will start back up other times it won't.Sometime after 10-15 minutes it starts back up.I just let is idle and after 5 minutes it stalled Idling.I am thinking crank or cam sensor or the computer. How can I check them.

Sounds like the ignition coil is going bad.

Never though of a ignition coil.I have a spare one I took off a parts car.I just changed it and car has been running for 10 minutes so far just at idle.I am still going to check the cam sensor in the morning.

I just went through the same problem, I replaced both cam and crank sensors and the ignition coil and still had the same symptoms. I finally replaced the computer and haven't had a problem since. I have the 95 2.0L as well...good luck

Just did the same thing with my 97 2.5L V6 with that particular symptom you described, "I have noticed twice when it had a hick up the check engine light and battery light came on for a second.". Ended up being the ECU.

Ok, went to junk yard and pulled a computer and I replaced the cam sensor and also had a different coil.Looks like I solved my problem.I think is was the computer, as before I used to have lights on my dash flicker all the time, and so far have not had that problem.
