I'm not quite sure when dodge opted to put in their stock alarm system but I need help. It would arm after I locked the door either by the key or by pushing the lock button on the door. Everything was fine until the alarm stopped turning on. I tried both side doors and it doesn't know turn on. I've check the fuse box under the dash and looked fine to me, is there anything else to rule out. Badvenge, i'm looking in your direction. thanks

 

Check the door pin switches . do the dome lights come on ???

 

I'm not sure what exactly your asking but the dome light comes on when I open the door and when I close it and lock it from the outside, they dim down. I had purchased a crappy aftermarket driver's side door handle and the cylinder key would slip in deep before it would spin around while turning. I know that there is a cable attached to the cylinder, i'm curious if it had fallen off would it disable the system.

 

Yes theres a micro switch attached that will stop the alarm

 

I have also had the same problem. The dome lights only work on the passenger side.... How would I check the door pin switch for my driver side door, and how would I be able to fix it if the pin switch wasn't working?

 

REPLACE the switch they are $10 from Dodge and cheaper from Mitsubishi 95/99 eclipse
