Question 1997 Avenger in Limp mode

Ok someone please help me with this.About 2 weeks ago my car started going into Limp mode durning stop and go driving. I had it put on a computer the dealer told me that it was internal computer failure and that my computer was bad well 400 dollars and a week later and i am still having the same problems. I dont have the money to trouble shoot this and was hoping someone could help me with this. It is also shooting pressure switch 2-4 code will changing the relays at the firewall fix my problem????

oh by the way when it goes into Limp mode I can pull over cut the car off and restart and it will drive and shift right for a while then it will do it again somedays more than others. PLEASE HELP

sounds like the 2-4 shift solenoid is sticking or failing...My Intrepid did the same thing until i did a total flush + filter on the transmission. Also some BG or Lucas transmission stabilizer may help if its real bad.

is that not in the solnoid pack? does that need to be changed or does that have nothing to do with it?

Yeah, that is part of the solenoid pack. If it's like my intrepid they should be able to drop the pan and check/replace any pressure switches or solenoids that are malfunctioning. This is also a good time to do a filter/fluid change.
