Default timing belt troubles.

if the timing belt slips, what internal problems does it cause. im getting low compression on the first two cylinders and the crank only moves one rotation. can i just pull the valves out and replace them as long as the cams look alright and do you guys think im going to have to machine the heads. if i have time i will take pictures and make a how to on this subject if its easy enough. thanks guys

It depends what the speed was when it broke if it wa at highway speeds it likely destroyed a bunch of valves. Likely 3.0 swap is the cheaper "fix"

it was at about 20-25 and the serpintine belt broke and got lodged into the timeing and caused it to jump time.

I saw a tire cord do that one time. This guy rode a flat tire till it shredded. Take off the heads, chances are it won't look good in there. From my experiences the pistons take a motherload of damage...very soft.
