Thanks for the advice. I have had the car sitting in the driveway with the battery disconnected for a couple days now. I am going to reconnect the battery and try driving it. I will let you know if there are any changes.

At this point, there is no simple fix that can be guessed. A real scanner is required to find out what the tcm is seeing and doing. if you went to the hospital with a broken arm, they would scan (x-ray) your arm to see what is going on.

I am looking for a illustrated parts breakdown of the complete solenoid pack for the A604 transmission. Does anyone have one or know where I can find one?

chrysler states that the solenoid pack is not serviceable and only serviced by replacing the entire unit....therefore there is no reason to have internal parts breakdown.

now, why do you want a detailed parts illustration of the solenoid pack?

I know it states that you are not to repair them. I am looking to pull one apart and clean it out. Just trying something for my limp mode problem.

from my experience that's not going to help you. you're just throwing guesses at it. you need a real scanner and then you'll be able to pinpoint the exact problem. I've got an MT2500 snapon for sale, it's in excellent condition. price $500 with shipping 48 states.
